These terms govern your use of the PaperPicks iOS app and paperpicks.app. By using PaperPicks you agree to them.
All balances, trades, payouts, and leaderboards in PaperPicks use simulated "paper" money. Nothing in the app is a wager, an investment, or a financial instrument. You cannot deposit real money into game play, and nothing in the app can be withdrawn, cashed out, or exchanged for anything of value. PaperPicks is not a gambling product, a broker, or an exchange, and is not affiliated with any real-money trading venue.
Odds and prices shown in PaperPicks reflect live public prediction markets and are provided for entertainment and educational purposes only. They are not investment advice, and we make no guarantee of their accuracy or availability.
Optional in-app purchases add simulated paper money to your balance or unlock the High Roller subscription. These purchases buy entertainment, not value: paper money has no monetary worth, cannot be refunded once credited except as required by law, and disappears if you delete your account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple ID settings; payment is charged to your Apple account. Purchased paper money never affects leaderboards' integrity rules.
Accounts are anonymous and device-bound unless you claim your record with Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for what happens on your account. One record per player: circumventing bankroll scarcity through multiple accounts may result in removal from leaderboards.
Chat, usernames, bios, and profiles must stay civil. No harassment, hate speech, impersonation, spam, or illegal content. We may hide, moderate, or remove content and restrict accounts that break these rules. You can report any message and block any player in the app.
Don't attempt to falsify your record, exploit bugs for leaderboard position, reverse-engineer the service, or interfere with other players. The record is the product; keeping it honest is a condition of playing.
You can stop at any time — Settings → Delete account erases your record permanently. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
PaperPicks is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Simulated results do not predict real-market outcomes.
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means acceptance. Questions: support@paperpicks.app.
